The objective of the Canada Arts Presentation Fund (CAPF) is to give Canadians access to a variety of professional artistic experiences in their communities. The CAPF recognizes that arts presenters are key partners in achieving this objective by providing financial assistance to organizations that professionally present arts festivals or performing arts series, as well as their support organizations. Eligible are: Canadian, non-profit organizations incorporated under Part II of the Canada Corporations Act (or under corresponding provincial or territorial legislation) that present, in a professional manner, artistic experiences originating from more than one province or territory; or with a core focus on strengthening arts presentation in Canada. Provincial, territorial or municipal institutions (including educational institutions that organize presentation activities for the public), as well as similar institutions or organizations of Status or Non-Status Indians, Inuit and Métis are also eligible.
