Aboriginal Friendship Centres
The Aboriginal Friendship Centres program supports the operations of a national and affiliated provincial/territorial associations and Aboriginal Friendship Centres enabling the provision of a wide range of culturally appropriate programs and services directed at improving the lives and strengthening the cultural identity of urban Aboriginal people.
Aboriginal Languages Initiative
The overall goal of the Aboriginal Languages Initiative is to support the preservation and promotion of Aboriginal languages for future generations of Aboriginal peoples and other Canadians.
Aboriginal Languages Initiative Innovation Fund
The objective of the Aboriginal Languages Initiative Innovation Fund is to encourage and support innovative community-based language projects utilizing existing technology in the promotion and preservation of First Nations languages.
Aboriginal Women’s Programming
Aboriginal Women’s Programming provides support in the areas of women’s community activities, family violence and self-government.
Cultural Connections for Aboriginal Youth
Cultural Connections for Aboriginal Youth promotes the design of projects that target age groups with appropriate activities for the various stages of youth development.
Canada/Territorial Co-operation Agreements for Aboriginal Languages
The Canada/Territorial Cooperation Agreements for Aboriginal Languages program ensures the development, maintenance and revitalization of the Aboriginal languages of the three territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut) by enabling and encouraging their use at home, at school and in the community.
Aboriginal Post-Secondary Scholarship Program
The National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation has established this scholarship fund to provide scholarships, based on merit and need to First Nations, Non-status Indians, Métis and Inuit.
Young Canada Works for Aboriginal Urban Youth
Young Canada Works provides career opportunities for youth and solutions for Canadian employers by supporting summer job programs for students and internship programs for unemployed or underemployed college and university graduates.
National Aboriginal Day
The objectives of the National Aboriginal Day program are to highlight the diverse Aboriginal cultures and contributions of Aboriginal peoples in Canada by promoting Canadian content; cultural participation and engagement; connections among Canadians; and active citizenship and participation.
Northern Aboriginal Broadcasting and Distribution Projects
The Northern Aboriginal Broadcasting program supports Aboriginal broadcasting societies to produce and distribute radio and television programming in the north.

Human Rights Grants and Contributions Program
The Human Rights Grants and Contributions Program provides a limited number of grants and contributions to projects that increase awareness, knowledge, and practical enjoyment of human rights in Canada.

Status of Women Funding Programs
