Celebrate Ontario

Celebrate Ontario is an annual program that helps new and existing Ontario festivals and events enhance their programs, activities and services to grow Ontario’s tourism market.


Ontario Arts Council Grants

The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) is an independent agency of the Ontario Ministry of Culture that supports artists and arts organizations in Ontario through grants, awards and services. The Ontario Arts Council currently offers more than 65 granting programs to individual artists, collectives, ad hoc groups and organizations in twelve sectors.


Community Arts Councils Programs and Grants

Many municipalities have arts councils, some of which provide funding for theatre artists and organizations. Arts councils in a number of municipalities and regions in Ontario are encouraging and promoting local arts and cultural activities and funding local organizations. Some offer grants or awards for artists.

Cultural Careers Council Ontario Programs

Internships provided to Ontario cultural organizations through youth wage subsidy program funded by Human Resources Development Canada. Interns must be residents of Ontario, under 30 years of age, unemployed (or under-employed), but ineligible for EI Benefits.
